As a Vice President, Dane leads KSV investment activities from sourcing new opportunities to evaluating prospective investments. He also works closely with portfolio company executive teams.
Prior to KSV, Dane worked for a global organization providing loans to students in over 100 countries, where he engaged with the executive committee to launch and scale three new product lines to over one million customers. Prior to this, Dane was an investment banking associate at Odyssey Capital, where he worked on complex restructuring transactions worth a combined $3B+ in total enterprise value.
Dane earned a dual Master of Finance degree from The Stern School of Business at New York University and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Business School. Prior to his Masters, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University. While at BYU, Dane was a scholarship athlete, playing four years on the university's varsity baseball team.
Outside of work, Dane enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife Taylor and their four children.
